Super tasty, absolutely modern, right on the banks of the Rhine with a great view! Ideal as a break on a bike tour!

A beautiful, modern bistro with a great outdoor area located directly on the Rhine. The service staff is always friendly and attentive. The dry Riesling is excellent and very inexpensive at € 3.90 for a limited 0.2l glass. The bratwurst with curry sauce and french fries is delicious and upscale at € 9.80, but not too expensive.

Go here, seriously. Beautiful location and AMAZING food. Plenty of parking available.

Simply a great location, right on the Rhine. Delicious food, nice staff. And the hygiene measures are also right, the tables are disinfected with every guest change, thanks to the staff 👍.

The Rhein Schänke is a very nice place to stay and have something to eat. The food tasted very good and the staff was very friendly. The feeling of sitting right on the Rhine and watching the scenery is wonderful. Nevertheless, I have two points of criticism. The first you have to go to the cash register yourself to order something, the food is then brought to the table. In my opinion, you can also order at the table. The second point is the price-performance ratio. The portions are very small for the money. The last point would also be the most important reason for me to consider whether I will just have a drink next time. Everything else great

Beautiful place to unwind! Simple but very tasty dishes. Enjoy the sunset in a deck chair with a view of the water. Feel free to plan this on your next bike tour.

What a wonderful place! Super comfortable deck chairs with railings to put your feet down and a panoramic view of the Rhine and all in the shade of opulent willows. The wine glass also fits perfectly into the cup holder integrated in the deck chair - we couldn't imagine a nicer place to spend a mild summer day!

Very nice view, you sit directly on the Rhine. Lots of trees so that you have shade in sunny weather. Cool drinks and there is also a small selection of dishes. Self service, friendly staff.

One of my new favorite places. Totally beautiful on the water, chic and modern location. In addition there is very, very delicious food. The service is also very nice and attentive. Great spot in the Rheingau!

A nice place, very quiet next to the Rhein river, no matter the season it is always nice to have a drink or something to eat in this place. The food is nice and practical. Remember that summer is the ideal time to better enjoy the views, food and drinks, especially the specialty of local wines or German beer.

It's a nice lovely spot to grab food or drinks. Effecient ordering and food delivery. They have a wide selection of drinks, desserts, and main dishes to choose from. Lots of great little snacks too. Highly recommend this place.

Beer and boat watchers paradise. Not the cheapest but you pay for the amazing views.

This place has a nice view!! Really nice ! It is not too cheaper but it's OK! About the service you need to order and pay first and then you can take a sit with a order number! The order come to your table.

Beautifull local price good direct on Rhein to take a break from the world a good decision

Very disappointing with terribly slow service and cold food! We found this place online and love the Rheingau so decided to come here when my mother visited. We were here on on a Friday, very late lunch/ early dinner time so it was not very busy. First we found the menu confusing and limiting and had to ask what several things were and what was and was not included. You go to the counter to order but they bring your food and drinks to you. At first it was OK, but despite having what seemed like a lot of staff standing around doing nothing our food took a long time to arrive. Worse was when it did come it was almost cold! Good for my 3 year old but not the rest of us! It seems like the food was standing around a long time because they let both waiters/waitresses take their break at the same time and the bar/order staff did serve food and just stood around doing nothing! The food itself was also very disappointing. Average tasting, nothing special which given the price you expect. My burger came with a massive amount of coleslaw served on the side. The coleslaw was really wet so that the juices actually run under and soak into the break of the burger, making it soggy and horrible. While the location is great and the idea is good the service and food were terrible so we will not come back again. Which given how often we are in the area is a shame.

Stopped here on an explorative cycle from Wiesbaden. I speak no German but the friendly staff helped me. Enjoyed the potato salad and had a vegetarian pizza. They also happily filled my bike bottle with water.

Good location, nice and friendly staff, moderate prices (2 beers, 1 coffee, 1 schnitzel with bread, and 1 bratwurst with fries - €25), and good taste. I don't understand German so I don't understand why the other reviews are bad, but I was quite happy with my experience. ☺
